Schwerbehindertenvertretung

Die Schwerbehindertenvertretung (SBV) ist die gewählte Interessenvertretung von schwerbehinderten und gleichgestellten Beschäftigten im Betrieb. Sie hat die Aufgabe, die Eingliederung schwerbehinderter Menschen zu fördern und deren Interessen zu vertreten.

Die Schwerbehindertenvertretung (SBV) fördert die Eingliederung schwerbehinderter Menschen in den Betrieb und vertritt ihre Interessen. Denn obwohl in den letzten Jahrzehnten Fortschritte beim Zugang zu Bildung, Beschäftigung, Erholung und Teilhabe erzielt wurden, gibt es nach wie vor viele Hindernisse.

Die Gleichstellung aller Kolleginnen und Kollegen ist ständiger Auftrag der IG Metall – so steht es in unserer Satzung

Der Arbeitskreis Schwerbehindertenvertretung (SBV) der IG Metall Stuttgart ist ein Zusammenschluss aktiver Kolleg*innen aus mehreren Betrieben, die sich mit den vielfältigen Begleitthemen im Bereich Schwerbehindertenvertretung beschäftigten, dazu zählen unter anderem die politische und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe, (politische) Bildung und betriebliche Weiterbildung sowie die Bekämpfung von Diskriminierung.

Ein besonderes Anliegen des Arbeitskreises ist es, die Inhalte möglichst teilnehmer*innenorientiert zu gestalten. Unsere Arbeitswelt verändert sich und immer häufiger werden unsere Kolleg*innen mit Anforderungen konfrontiert, die viel Veränderungsbereitschaft mitbringen. Gemeinsam mit den Interessenvertreter*innen im Betrieb möchten wir Raum bieten, um in individuellem Tempo den Herausforderungen zu begegnen.

Die Veranstaltungen finden nach § 179 Abs. 4 und Abs. 8 SGB IX bzw. nach § 37 Abs. 2 BetrVG statt.
